What started out as an attempt to create a sauce that would get our kids to eat turned into three sauces and two rubs that we hope you all will enjoy. It was a two year process of love that Ed & Gloria went through in creating our signature product - Ed's Misdemeanor Barrr-B-Q Sauce. For over a year we gave away samples to friends and family and were told the same thing by them all, "You need to start selling this stuff!" As a result, Ed's Barrr-B-Q was formed in early 2005.

We had our sauces and rubs that we wanted to sell; our next step was coming up with a theme for these products. Gloria has a coworker that LOVES Ed's sauces, his thick Boston accent gave us the idea for Barrr-B-Q. Looking at these R's made us think of the bars of a jail cell, which led to the slogan "The Taste You Can't Escape!" From here we took a different aspect of jail\prison for the product lines & individual products. For the sauces it was different charges: Misdemeanor, Manslaughter and Murder One. The rubs were named after types of incarceration: Minimum Security and Death Row. The entire process has been a family affair.

Ed's Barrr-B-Q is a proud sponsor of the North Stars Gymnastics Team (Berlin, VT) & the Northstars Pee Wee Hockey Team (Northfield, VT). We have catered several charity events in our local communities and will continue to do so in the future. We believe in giving back - there is no greater feeling than that.
